In a world of P5 vs. G5/mid-majors, it is easy for people to assume

that a power conference school should always beat a perceived G5/mid-major school, which Wright State is, regardless of the sport. It is possible for a "good mid-major" to have a losing record in a sport because it lacks the depth of talent which could have made the difference in a few close games.
#11 GT L 8-9
#3 Okie State L 6-7 (10 innings)
Even though Wright State may not have done so well against GT and Okie State in those other games, it does show the team is capable of hanging with the big boys.
